Whenever there is an event hosted and promoted by a magazine you can almost always bet that everyone is going to come and show out with their cars, this was definitely the case at the Super Street Magazine / Toyo Tires Calendar launch held in Costa Mesa, CA.
One of my favorite aspects of events like this is the variety of cars and people that come out to show their build, the spectrum is from one end to another with classic cars showing to high horsepower exotics, if you are just a fan of cars in general there’s going to be something that tickles your fancy, I guarantee it.
As always it’s a good time when I get the chance to see some of my friends builds and catch up with the owners. In this case here we have Luis (@cerius88) static Lexus GS sitting on full T-Demand suspension and some brand new Executor SSR Wheels.
Luis had to work that morning but his car was able to show out because Sam being the good friend that he is drove this beauty down from the Central Pine USA shop in Orange. Like I’ve said before, if you are looking into sourcing some parts from Japan and are into having some one-off VIP pieces fitted to your car make sure to hit Sam up since he runs both the Central Pine and now T-Demand operations here in SoCal.
My first car was an Acura Integra so I just had to snap a shot of this Spoon Sports DC2
One of my favorite cars from the event has to have been this E46 BMW fitted with a bunch of 326 Power parts and some parts accented with flakes. After stalking him on IG i found the owner to be a super cool dude names George (@ruined_e46).
Ran into my buddy Gerard’s (@gerard_says) MR2 on some sweet Blitz 03’s but he was nowhere to be found, now not much has changed to his car over the years but its still a super clean look.
All in all it was an awesome event and goes to show Super Street knows how to throw a party, especially at the end when everyone was leaving and the scene turned into a sideshow with dudes burning out and doing donuts at the intersection. Still was catch up with some old friends and make some new as always. On to the next.
